As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Juana approaches supporting our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being through a diet of nutrient dense, properly prepared, whole foods. This approach also focuses on a healthy digestive system. Depending on each individuals health status, some supplemental support may temporarily be required to bring the individual back into balance.
Just to clarify... When I say "Too little Stomach Acid" in the video above what I am meaning, along with not enough volume of Stomach Acid, is that the Stomach Acid pH is not acidic enough. A low pH indicates higher acidity. Stomach acid should be somewhere between a pH of 1.5 to pH of 3.0 (a pH of 7 is neutral and anything above that is basic). The video below "The Big Stomach Acid Lie" is great at explaining this concept clearly.
TESTIMONIAL FOR JUANA AYERS’ NUTRITIONAL THERAPY- 11/7/2016
Juana has been my massage therapist for many years, and I’ve grown to appreciate not only her skillful massage, but her lively interest in related fields. Two years ago I saw her flyer advertising a public informational session for her Nutritional Therapy practice, and I attended. Right then I knew it was time to address some nagging digestive issues and she would be an excellent choice to help me.
Over the course of our Nutritional Therapy sessions, Juana identified not only problems I was aware of, but several related problems as well. With expertise and patience, she assisted me through the numerous dietary and lifestyle changes that were necessary to effect the changes I desired. Juana coupled invaluable knowledge with a philosophy of letting me set my own pace for making those changes, many of which were major. This allowed me to accumulate a solid base of awareness of how I was reacting to the various changes. Over the course of our therapy, with her masterly guidance, I was able to fine-tune adjustments to diet, supplementation, exercise, behavior and lifestyle. At the point we agreed the necessary changes were in place, I was comfortable that I had the knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to maintain the gains I had made.
One thing I valued was Juana’s exceptional ability to not only provide information and ideas but to integrate my input into a highly individualized and comprehensive plan that worked for me.
I found this experience with Juana to be outstanding. I would definitely recommend Juana to anyone who is interested in improving their nutritional well-being.
